The countdown to the 2013 Sanremo Festival has already begun and can be felt throughout town, where Rai vehicles have descended and the people are teeming with excitement for the big show, which raises the curtain on Feb. 12, 2013.
The Italian Song Festival takes place from February 12 to 16 when all the focus is on the stage of the Ariston Theatre. For the 2013 edition, Fabio Fazio is the official presenter joined by pungent Luciana Littizzetto and other appearances still shrouded in mystery.
There will be 14 Artists who will each present two new songs: Almamegretta, Annalisa Scarrone, Chiara Galiazzo, Daniele Silvestri, Elio and Le Storie Tese, Malika Ayane, Marco Mengoni, Maria Nazionale, Marta sui Tubi, Max Gazzè, Chris Brown, Raphael Gualazzi, Simona Molinari and Peter Cincotti, Simon Webbe.
For the Youth section, there will be 8 contestants, whose songs, videos, and talent can already be heard on the network: Andrea Nardinocchi, Anthony May, Blastema, Chile, Porceddu Ilaria, Irene Ghiotto, Renzo Simoni and Paolo Rubino.
