Villa Faraldi, July/August 2010
Great events even for the 2010 edition of the International Festival of Villa Faraldi: it will begin from Tovo Faraldi on Friday, July 9th with “Waiting for the Festival”, “Swinging Europe” in concert and a photo exhibition of Frank Jordan.
For the entire period of the Festival the village of Villa Faraldi and its surrounding villages will become a great open air stage, under the artistic direction of Fabrizio Lo Presti there will be theatre shows, music, dancing, poetry and various arts along the streets with the possibility for the audience to interact with the artists.
Saturday, July 10th at the Fritz Roed Social and Cultural Center from 5 PM there will be the grand opening of the “Second Generation of Norwegian Artists in Villa Faraldi” exhibit.
From 10 PM in the Piazza della Chiesa there will be Vittorio Sgarbi in “Io, l’altro” (me, the other).
Wednesday, July 14th in Riva Faraldi by the Piazza della Chiesa, from 10 PM there will be a show with Paolo Rossi entitled “La Serata del Disonore” (an evening of dishonor).
Saturday, July 24th at Tovetto Faraldi by the Piccola Arena from 10 PM the “Gruppo Cameristico Alchimeda” will perform “Atmosfere Celtiche” (Celtic atmospheres).
Thursday, August 5th in Deglio Faraldi from 10 PM there will be the “Quartetto Euphoria” in “Euphoria Show”.
Tuesday, August 17th in Riva Faraldi at 10 PM there will be a concert of Stefano Bollani & the Danish Trio.
