Apricale, August 2007. The 18th edition of the theatrical show…”e le stelle stanno a guardare “ ( the stars are watching ) by the company Teatro della Tosse has become a Summer classic in Apricale. It’s a great show which, every year, attracts thousands of people from all over Italy. This summer, the event is scheduled from Sunday 5th to Wednesday 15th August at 9pm.
This year, Tonino Conti put together an exhibition which is more like a “competiton” between major poets from Liguria ( Montale, Sbarbaro, Caproni, Sanguineti, Campana, …) and songwriters from the same region ( De André, Lauzi, Bindi, Paoli, Fossati…). They are all very well known and all described Genova and Liguria through their art, making them famous all over the world. The event is called “Poeti vs Cantautori” uno spettacolo tra parole e musica.
