Badalucco, September 2012
On Sunday, September 16th, 2012 there will be the 42nd edition of the Badalucco Codfish Festival.
A traditional event which brings thousands of people each year towards the village of Badalucco at the heart of the Argentina Valley.
The festival celebrates such northern fish which is prepared by expert local cooks with ingredients such as pine nuts, hazelnuts, dried mushrooms, garlic, anchovies and especially local extra virgin olive oil.
A mix of ingredients and a magical touch give to the dish a unique and incomparable flavor; its scent will guide you for the entire day across the alleys and squares of the historical district.
Other than the food sampling in the main square of Badalucco, there will also be musical entertainment, animation for children and flea markets hosting local products and crafts.
