The celebrations for the Carnival in Côte Azur are always top level; in the following section we propose the programs of the Nice Carnival and the Lemon Festival in Menton:
for the Nice Carnival the 2009 edition will be dedicated to “the art of hiding in every form or definition…”

Sunday, February 22nd 2.30 PM – Parade

Saturday, February 28th 2.30 PM – Flower Battle – 9 PM – Night Parade

The Parades will take place in Masséna Square and will loop around the Albert I garden. The Flower Battles will take place at the Promenade des Anglais, by the sea.
As for the Lemon Festival of Menton, the program will be the following:
In the Bioves Gardens superb citrus compositions from Saturday, February 14th (9AM/6PM and 9AM/7PM on the weekends). On Friday, February 13th, 20th and 27th there’s the gardens will be open at night.
Sunday, February 15th and 22nd and March 1st from 2.30 PM by the Promenade du Soleil there will be the beautiful citrus fruit parades.
Thursday, February 19th and 26th Night parades from 8.30 PM, the lemons will meet the moon. There will be fireworks at the end of the parades.
