During the Carnival period there’s the renewal of two traditional events in the Côte Azur with the reviews dedicated to such joyful period of the year, La Fete du Citron in Menton and the Carnival of Nice.
Favored by the mild climate of the Côte Azur, many of the exhibitions and the events linked to the two festivities will take place outdoors along the sea promenades of the two cities.
In Menton, the Fete du Citron will take place from Friday, February 12th to Wednesday, March 3rd. The chosen theme for 2010 is “Menton fait son cinèma”. During the entire period it will be possible to visit the famous citrus fruit exhibitions; during the day of February 12th /16th /19th / 23rd /26th it will be possible to visit Les Jardins de lumière; on Sunday, February 14th / 21st / 28th the golden fruit Parade and Thursday 18th and 25th from 8.30 PM great show with a night parade.

The Nice Carnival will take place from February 12th to the 28th, 2010. The theme for the 2010 edition will be “Roi du planète Bleue”, such as the Earth’s history in all of its phases and particular attention towards environment issues.
Like each year great parades with allegorical wagons during the day and the greatness of the night parades, concluding with the magnificence of the flower battles. All these fun events shouldn’t be missed by people of all ages!
