Badalucco, September 2008
The lively village of Badalucco, in the Argentina Valley, is organizing the 38th Codfish Festival on the third Sunday of September (September 20th/21st, 2008), an occasion that can’t be missed to taste a dish of the historical “Stocafissu a Baücôgna”, a typical delicatessen whose recipe is strictly secret… Almost!
It’s a summer’s end event in which thousands of people participate from many places of Europe. Of course there will be many side shows and events: concerts, dancing evenings in the Main square and much more.
The cooked codfish comes directly from the Lofoten Islands in Norway, which also are a Twin City of the Village of the Argentina Valley.
