From February 18th to March 8th, 2011 two classic events will take place in the Côte Azur: the 78th Fête du Citron in the village of Menton following the theme: “The great civilizations”, with parades, exhibits and parties.
In Nice during the same period the great recurrence of the Carnival will be celebrated with the 2011 theme being “The King of the Mediterranean”; great parades with allegorical wagons, music, dances and lots of fun for all ages.
Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th, 2011 in Taggia there will be the great historical reconstruction for the Festivity of Saint Benedict Revelli; street market and reconstruction of the great battle on Saturday while Sunday will be dedicated to the settings along the streets of the historical district and from 4 PM there will be a great parade with characters from the 17th century, an event which can’t be missed.
