Sanremo, March 2013
Sunday, March 10, 2013, from 10AM to 1:30PM, the City of Flowers will present one of its historical events, Sanremo in flowers, the parade of floral floats. The tradition began in 1904 as the “Feast of the Goddess Flora” and is an important event that represents Sanremo in the world.
The floral floats parading through the streets of Sanremo and the promenade will be developed and created by the nearby towns and villages along the Riviera that take part in this creative competition of carnations and daisies.
The theme of the 2013 edition will be “Man in Space”, and the procession will be filmed by Green Line and broadcast at 12:00 on Sunday, March 10th on Rai 1.
