Ventimiglia, June 2011
The month of June will be full of events for the city of Ventimiglia, which is the month dedicated to the Flower Battle and many other collateral events which lively entertain the beginning of Summer in such boundary city.
On Saturday, June 4th the 27th Italian Ancient Crossbow Championship will take place. On Sunday, June 5th, on the route of the Black Corsair, the Cala del Forte Trophy will take place with an international regatta from Ventimiglia to Roquebrune.
On Saturday, June 18th from 9.30 PM there will be the night flower wagon parade. The 2011 theme will be Italy’s Unity – Garibaldi, following with a fireworks show and a White Night along the city streets.
On Sunday, June 19th starting from 10.45 AM there will be the grand flower parade and the 49th Flower Battle along the streets of Ventimiglia.
