Badalucco, September 2007. The lively village of Badalucco, in the Argentina Valley, is organizing the 37th Codfish Festival on the third Sunday of September (September 16th, 2007), an occasion that can’t be missed to taste a dish of the historical “Stocafissu a Baücôgna”, a typical exquisite dish the recipe of which is strictly secret… well almost! It’s a summer’s end event in which thousands of people participate from all over Europe. Of course there are many side shows and events: concerts, dancing evenings in the Main square and much more. The codfish cooked at the festival comes directly from the Lofoten Islands in Norway, the sister city of the village of the Argentina Valley.
