Many events and activities are offered by the City of Flowers throughout the Christmas period. At Palafiori Corso Garibaldi on Sunday, December 9th, the 8th edition of the Festival of Flavors of the Alps of the sea. A spectacular food and wine event, to which thousands of visitors come every year who taste and select specialtie from Liguria and Piedmont for Christmas gifts and holiday dinners during the period.
On Saturday, December 8th & Sunday, December 9th from 9 am to 7 pm, in the center of Piazza Colombo you can browse through innumerous creations in the many stalls at the Field of Marvels, an artisan market organized by Narima. The market will be held on Saturday, Jan. 5th and Sunday, Jan. 6th, 2013.
On Saturday, December 15, from 9 am to 7 pm, San Siro in Art will be held: a market exhibition of antique and modern art with over 20 participating artists, painters, sculptors, architects ….. A ‘unique opportunity to experience one of the most beautiful squares in the center of the City of Flowers.
On the last night of the 2012, Sanremo will dress to the nines and get ready for all those who want to celebrate through its streets and squares with a wonderful evening of music.
The center of the festival will be in Piazzale Vesco (Vesco Square) where music groups will perform on stage and before the night continues in the nearby Piazza Bresca, the center of San Remo nightlife. At midnight the dawning of the new year will be celbrated with traditional fireworks over the sea.
