The historic center of Taggia is ready to welcome you on Sunday, March 3, 2013 to step 400 years back in time and immerse yourself in an atmosphere that has charmed thousands of people over the last 30 years.
The Historical Parade of Taggia is the culmination of the Feast of Saint Benedict and throughout the day on Sunday, the streets and squares of historical center will come alive with characters straight out of the 17th century, with great attention given to their dress, details, and truly unique settings.
Each Tabiesi district offers a scene from real life or a historical event that actually happened during the period and after which a group of characters participate in the parade in the afternoon.
The day’s events conclude in Piazza Cavour where a panel of judges will declare the winning districts.
