Monaco, Summer 2008
Unforgettable event for all the Egypt lovers, especially for the fascinating queens that have governed it millenniums ago, from July 12th to September 10th in the Principality of Monaco the Egyptian queens Cleopatra, Nefertiti and Nefertari will meet, with their stories and their mysteries.
It will be the most important summer event of the Grimaldi Forum that will host in its 4000 square meters the exhibit dedicated to the “Queens of Egypt”.
The setting of the exhibit will be taken care by François Payet, whom already built sets for many prestigious exhibits at the Grimaldi Forum.
The 250 masterpieces that will be shown come from the main Egyptian museums of the world such as Cairo, Turin, London, Moscow, the Louvre of Paris…
The exhibit will be open from July 12th to September 10th from 10 AM to 8 PM. On Thursday and Saturday the opening will be prolonged until 10 PM. The entrance fee is 10 €, reduced and groups of 10 people 8 €. Students with less than 26 years of age 6 €. Free entrance for kids up to 11 years old.
