Imperia April 2007. On Friday 20th, Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd April a very special fusion between England and Italy. A union between two fascinating European countries full of history and culture, an important exchange which will involve both the travel agents from England and Italy and anyone with a passion for English traditions and travels. It will be a great chance to liven up the town of Imperia and introduce a guest country as well as the world of travel. All events will take place in the department stores ( former depot ) by the Imperia port. Among the many events, “Mete Fotografica”, an exhibition on contemporary photography which was organised in collaboration with the photography department IED of Turin.“Manifesti a confronto”, an exhibition of the best Liberty billboards about tourism in Liguria and the prizing of the students from the Arts Schools in Liguria. Mete Village”, dedicated to the tradition of the cup of tea. It is also a cafe’, where two different cultures are compared. There will also be a secondary area dedicated to travellers, with lots of ways to explore new suggestive atmospheres. “Mete Cine”, with the projection of a cult movie, plus music and theatre events dedicated to the guest country.
