Antibes, July 2008
In Antibes on Friday 18th July, 2008 will re-open the historical Picasso Museum, a very important place for the historical and artistic French patrimony as well as the world.
After two years of recovery it will be possible to visit the new exhibition area, divided onto two floors, one dedicated to contemporary exhibits, the other totally reserved for the works of the Spanish artist.
It will be of great interest visiting the atelier where Picasso worked during the ‘40s when he stayed in southern France.
For the first time visitors will see the studio as it was in origin, with a great window that directly faced the sea, inspiration source of many works.
