From February 18th to March 9th the 78th edition of the Fete du Citron of Menton will take place. The theme for 2011 will be: “The great civilizations”.
It is one of the most ancient and important reviews of the Côte Azur linked to the Carnival period, a suggestive feast that exalts citrus fruits that with their scent and colors give a charming tone of happiness to Winter days.
In the following section we are reporting the dates of the main events:
Fruit parade: February 20th and 27th, March 6th at 2.30 PM
Night parade: Thursday February 24th and March 3rd at 9.00 PM
Citrus sculpture exhibit: from February 18th to March 9th
Gardens of Lights: February 18th, 22nd, 25th and March 1st and 4th
Orchid Festival and Craftsmanship Salon: from February 19th to March 9th
Children’s Carnival: Friday, February 18th
