Awaited like every year, the Medieval August of Ventimiglia is back on time. It’s a great review organized by this boundary city that unifies history, art and local traditions.
For the 32nd edition during the days from August 7th to the 8th in the historical district there will be the historical reconstruction in medieval costumes “Ventimiglia and the banquo of Saint George, in the Square there will also be the camp of the Crossbowmen Company and the medieval Pescia Market. Upon paid reservation (0184-234008) there will also be a “Medieval dinner”.
At the “Taverna del Corsaro Nero” it will be possible to taste typical traditional plates accompanied by shows and entertainment.
Also from August 7th it will be possible to participate to guided cultural tours through the historical district of Ventimiglia and there will also be the extraordinary opening of the G. Rossi archeological museum with guided visit and accorded entrance.
On August 10th from 6 PM at the Marina of San Giuseppe there will be the Regata dei Sestrieri (the Neighborhoods Regatta), traditional competition with Ligurian boats along the neighborhoods of the city.
