Sanremo, October 2009
The Autumn season that has just begun has already brought the first news about the 60th edition of the Sanremo Italian Music Festival.
There’s a great change in conduction, with Antonella Clerici that after the great success of the past season with the “Ti lascio una canzone” (I’m leaving you a Song) show broadcasted from the Ariston Theatre, has won the absolute conducting position of the music review.
The artistic and musical direction of the Festival, which will take place from February 15th to the 20th, 2010, has been given to Gianmarco Mazzi.
There won’t probably be fixed partners accompanying the blonde TV conductor but probably important guests that will change each evening, actors or comedians chosen from the Italian scene.
There will be many novelties: for example the right to participate to the competition for whoever will win the “X Factor” music show on Raidue.
In the meantime in Sanremo the formation courses of SanremoLab took place from September 21st to the 25th at the Palafiori of Corso Garibaldi. It’s a music competition that will announce the winners that will be able to access directly to the “Young” category of the 60th edition of the Festival.
There will also be other eliminatory and final phases in October and November in order to announce the winners in December.
The group of teachers is composed by some of the greatest professionals of the Music Business. On the inauguration day there have been exceptional teachers: Zucchero and Francesco Facchinetti.
The 2009 edition of SanremoLab counts 418 people, 321 artists between groups, duos and singles.
