There are still 4 months left before the beginning of the next edition of the Sanremo Italian Music Festival but the rumors over who will conduct the event in 2011 have already been moving since Summer.
Now the mystery has been officially unveiled: Gianni Morandi will reach the stage of the Ariston Theatre during the “hottest” February week of the entire year!
The conductor won’t be left alone during the musical event: there are rumors over the female presences of Belen Rodriguez and Elisabetta Canalis, but we aren’t sure they will be the only dames of the Ariston.
It is certain that the jesters role will be assigned to the Reservoir Dogs Luca & Paolo; now that the conductors line is almost set, the fundamental elements of the show are still missing: the singers.
We can already anticipate a few names that will be whispered through the RAI corridors: there won’t be any X Factor winners, as announced by the rules, but there will be for sure two artists in the Young section that will be selected from Area Sanremo.
For the V.I.P. Section there are consistent rumors over the presence of Giusy Ferreri as well as Valerio Scanu, who has won the past edition and has become the idol of millions of teenagers, but there might also be Marco Mengoni, Marco Carta, Alessandra Amoroso…
It is nonetheless important for the RAI and the Sanremo City Hall, according to the current information, to reserve a place in the front row for George Clooney. All the rest can wait.
