Imperia, April 2007. The 8th edition of Sol & Vento – energia di Primavera ( an event about springtime in the Riviera Ligure which includes the exhibition of colourful kites ) will take place on Saturday March 31st and Sunday April 1st , in Borgo Matina di Imparia Porto Maurizio. Lots of different teams from all over the world will participate and the glorious kites will float in the air performing acrobatic numbers.
The event is especially linked to nature, the miracles of the sun and the wind in everyday life. There will be a few stands to increase awareness about the environment and the use of alternative forms of energy, as well as a small market of biologic products. There will also be a lot of space for children, they’ll even have access to laboratories to build their own kites ,a mini park with many inflatable games, a game of candy-throwing to the kites and a cute night exhibition about the weightless, floating creatures of the sky.
The “Tribu’ del Vento” will arrive in Iimperia betweenApril 22nd/25th. Thousands of people who have a passion for the sun, the wind, water sports and surfing boards will invade the Spiaggia d’Oro to create the 8th edition of the Windfestival 2007. The Imperia beaches will temporarily seem to have turned into Californian ones, with surfing competitions and general ones, live music, gastronomy, latest fashion and accessories news for this type of disciplines…There will also be beach parties until dawn every night to finish off with a pyrotechnical exhibition in the sky of Imperia on the last night. This is a great chance to experience a wonderful time in the sun, wind and sand of the Riviera dei Fiori.
