San Biagio, Perinaldo and Civezza, May 2008
Interesting appointments in the weekends of May in Imperia’s inland. On May 1st there’s the 18th Street Art and Circus Festival – Circopaese, which will show the village of Civezza transform itself for an entire day in a sort of “wonder land” where everything is possible thanks to animation, games and magic tricks. www.circopaese.it
On the first weekend of May (3rd and 4th) in San Biagio della Cima there’s the marvelous showing of“Rose in esposizione” (roses in exhibition), a meeting point among breeders, farmers and businessmen, that will accompany the scent and delicateness of the roses, extensively cultivated in San Biagio, with typical products such as the Rossese wine which can be sampled through the village streets.
The 2008 edition will also have a round table conference to verify and comprehend the future on this cultivation.
Sunday, May 18th in Perinaldo there will be the 9th Artichoke Showing of Perinaldo and of the “Taggiasca” variety Olive Oil, a gastronomic appointment of great success and undoubted quality. www.perinaldo.org
