Vessalico, Villa Faraldi, Borgio Verezzi, July 2008
Historical appointment on July 2nd every year in Vessalico, up in the high Arroscia Valley, with the Red Garlic Fair (slow Food presidium), one of the most rare and most precious food products of the region (there’s an annual production of only 3000 plants with 24 cloves each) that every year during this date becomes protagonist with the fair dedicated to it. A great appointment that reunites the main producers of the region and many tourists and visitors that discover during this day one of the “jewels” of the Arroscia Valley.
During the months of July and August 2008 the 25th Edition of the Theatre Festival of Villa Faraldi will go on scene. Directed this year by Marco Ghelardi and the Salamander Theatre Company.
For the 2008 edition a quality theatre showing has been chosen, focused towards a young and attentive public. The Festival has renovated itself and wants to interact with its audience giving space to new national and international realities.
On the 2008 review there will be European debuts and shows that have won prestigious prizes.
