In the old town centre of Taggia you can combine the pleasures of eating great food and attending the theatre. All of this takes place in the Osteria Germinal, a typical example of the inns of the Ponente Ligure, which is to be found a short distance from the parish church. Here with the help of the “Teatro del Banchéro” company, you will be able to watch a review of “Teatro da Camera”.( a performance outside of at theatre )

The osteria specializes in fish and locally grown vegetables all prepared by a chef who has had an adventurous past, given that he was once a fisherman: minestone alla Genovese, parpagliui di borragine, acciughe ripene e fritte, insalata tiepida di polpo e scorzonera, crema di fagioli di Badalucco, torta dolce di zucca gialla are only some of the dishes to be enjoyed at the Germinal accompanied, of course, by a splendid wine list. The courteous and informal service adds to the other features and helps to provide evenings rich in atmosphere. ( many of the dishes are regional specialities which are best left to the staff to explain )
