It is a celebration of one of the most rare and precious products of this area ( each year, it reaches a production of 3000 pieces, each made of 24 pieces ). The area&#8217;s major producers as well as many tourists gather for this event to discover one of Valle Arroscia&#8217;s finest &#8220;jewel&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>In Valle Argentina,\u00a0<strong>Montalto Ligure<\/strong>\u00a0to be precise, for two consecutive weekends in\u00a0<strong>July ( 21st and 28th)<\/strong>\u00a0the 3rd edition of the\u00a0<em>&#8220;Cronica Montisalti&#8221;<\/em>, takes place. It is a &#8220;tribute&#8221; to Medieval times , complete with street markets, theatre shows, reconstructions of typical Medieval settings, etc. Lots of new ideas are expected for this years&#8217; edition.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The 11th edition of &#8220;Harpae &#8211; Festival delle arpe di Isolabona&#8221; will also take place in July.<\/strong>\u00a0This is a prestigious event which has grown significantly in the past years. The townhall of Isolabona has started a new project in 2006, called\u00a0<em>&#8220;Isolabona, the village of harps&#8221;<\/em>, an interesting challenge for a town so strongly linked to this elegant instrument.<br \/>\nAgain, in July, the\u00a0<em>&#8220;la piccola Atene fra gli ulivi&#8221;<\/em>\u00a0( i.e.\u00a0<strong>Villa Faraldi<\/strong>\u00a0) will fill up the piazzas for the\u00a0<strong>24th edition of the &#8220;Festival di Villa Faraldi \u2013 Art, Music and Theatre&#8221;.<\/strong>\u00a0Througout the years, it has hosted many famous national and international artists.<\/p>\n<p><strong>From July 11th to August 11th,<\/strong>\u00a0in\u00a0<strong>Borgio Verezzi (Sv) the 41st edition of the Festival Teatrale<\/strong>, a classic event which brings the magical world of theatre to Liguria, creating a perfect combination with the Mediterranean vegetation of the Liguria coast.<\/p>\n<p>For further info and listings : www.festivalverezzi.it<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hinterland of Riviera, Summer 2007.\u00a0There will be many and varied events this Summer; the Riviera hinterland offers something for everyone.
