Sanremo, January 2008<\/em>. Great expectancy for the event that opens the great seasons of the events in the City of Flowers, Sanremo in Flowers will have for its 2008 edition a great amount of\u00a0collateral events from January 19th to February 3rd<\/strong>: Flower composition competitions, themed conferences, music and animation, the Night of the Flowers, exhibits dedicated to the sport and Olympic world, reaching it\u2019s maximum with the great flower wagons parade along the streets on January 27th.<\/p>\n

Over 60.000 people will come to Sanremo to follow the event, and just like every year the National Television\u2019s (RAI) video cameras will broadcast live through the show \u201cLinea Verde\u201d the entire flower wagons parade.<\/p>\n

The chosen theme for the year 2008 will be\u00a0\u201cThe Olympics\u201d<\/em>. Every city participating to the competition will have to take inspiration from an Olympic sport in order to build its flower wagon.<\/p>\n

The 2008 edition will host several Olympic champions; the wagon of the city of Sanremo (which has always participated without being in the competition) will represent the five Olympic circles and the brazier with its sacred fire.<\/p>\n
