Ventimiglia, August 2009\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

The city of Ventimiglia dedicates the month of August to medieval historical reconstructions that trace the glorious local history.<\/p>\n

2009 will be the 33rd edition and for the occasion the chosen theme will be \u201cThe Grimaldi in Ventimiglia\u201d, a Genovese family that since the 12th Century has assumed prestigious and rich positions. The historical events has seen them exiled towards the County of Ventimiglia and from that moment on the history of the family and of the city bonded together.<\/p>\n

There will be numerous events and representations, starting from the historical regatta, the costume parade, several conferences and theme exhibitions, entertaining evenings in the square and many other surprises and attractions.<\/p>\n
