The Botanical Park of Villa Hanbury and the protected regional area will celebrate important achievements during the year 2010. 50 years of public administration and 10 years from the creation of the regional protected area.
To underline the historical, botanical and architectural value of the district of the Mortola there will be over 30 events programmed along the course of the year.
Wednesday, April 14th – At 10 AM there will be a guided visit under the name “Rose of the West”.
Wednesday, April 28th – At 10 AM “Plants and Linguistics”, a theme guided visit.
From April 23rd to May 3rd – “Obiettivo Hanbury”, photographic competition.
Saturday, May 15th – At 10 AM there will be a guided visit under the name “Traces from the past”.
May 21st – 22nd – Biodiversity without boundaries, an international conference in Imperia and at the Hanbury gardens and grand opening of the exhibit.
Wednesday, May 26th – At 10 AM there will be a guided visit under the name “The spontaneous flora of Capo Mortola”
Sunday, May 30th – At 10.30 Prize ceremony of the “Obiettivo Hanbury” photo competition.
