Nice, February 2011
The Carnival of Nice is one of the most important carnivals of the world, one of the fundamental touristic events of the Côte Azur. The 2011 edition will take place from February 18th to March 8th.
Each year the magnificent parades with gigantic wagons will take place. There will be 20 wagons that will tell the story of the “King of the Mediterranean”, which is the 2011 theme.
The wagons will be accompanied by over 1000 musicians and dancers from all over the world.
The magnificent scenario of the Promenade des Anglais will be the setting for the parades and the typical flower battles that have always animated the Nice Carnival.
It’s an alternative way to celebrate the Carnival under the sun and near the Sea of the Côte Azur!
